Dr. Linda Kent grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. She enjoyed having a menagerie of pets, including Schnauzers, rabbits, and a budgie, and observed the amazing wildlife near her home. Having spent summers in Hayesville, NC, Dr. Linda was drawn to the beauty of the state and graduated from Wake Forest in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She completed her veterinary degree in 1995 at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.

After working in a busy companion animal practice in Atlanta, GA, Dr. Linda and her husband moved to Holly Springs where they have lived for the past 19 years. She has worked in several practices in the area while raising and homeschooling her three children.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching her kids compete in sporting events, and walking the family dog around town.
